The male inflorescences are clustered near the top of the branches, 5-8 cm long; the female inflorescences are solitary, 2-5 cm long, rarely up to 7 cm. The cupule is disc-shaped, with varying depths, 2.5-3.8 cm in diameter and 5-8 mm in height. It is covered with grayish yellow or gray soft hairs. The bracteoles merge to form 7-11 concentric rings with fine teeth or entire margins. The nut is oblate, 2-2.8cm in diameter, 7-12mm high, with a concave or flat tip and a convex base, covered with silky gray short soft hairs, and a slightly convex navel, 1-2cm in diameter.
