[Source] Medicinal material source: The pseudobulb of Cymbidium orchidaceae.

[Original form] Mountain orchid, perennial herb. The pseudobulb is nearly spherical, about 1 cm in diameter. Several are connected and grow on a creeping rhizome, with 2 rings, sparse fibers, and 1-2 leaves at the top. The leaves are narrowly lanceolate, up to 30 cm long, 1.2-2.2 cm wide, gradually pointed at the apex, and narrowed to a petiole at the base. The peduncle grows laterally at the top of the pseudobulb, up to 53cm long, with two membranous tubular sheaths at the bottom; many flowers are arranged in a raceme 8-20cm long; bracteoles are short, narrowly lanceolate; flowers are yellow-brown, and the perianth is slightly reflexed outward; sepals and petals are nearly equal in size, 7-10mm long, about 2mm wide, the middle sepal is narrowly oblong, and the lateral sepals and petals are sickle-oblong; the lip is white with purple spots, 3-lobed, the lateral lobes are narrowly sickle-shaped, about 1/2 the length of the middle lobe, the middle lobe is cuneate-obovate, with a corrugated front edge, and the column is about 6mm long.
