Dioecious or monoecious; male cymes are loose, with long peduncles, the whole inflorescence is 3-6cm long, female cymes are densely clustered, or with short peduncles and corymbose, 3-10mm long; male flowers are large, 1.8-2mm in diameter, with 4 tepals, fused to the middle, with horns on the back near the tip, and 4 stamens; female flowers are small, about 0.6mm long, with 3 tepals, extremely unequal in size.
