Ingredients: 6 grams of aconite, 9 grams of tortoise shell, 9 grams of Ligustrum lucidum, 9 grams of Eclipta prostrata, 15 grams of Polygonum multiflorum, 15 grams of Salvia miltiorrhiza, 30 grams of magnetite, and 24 grams of Cassia tora.

Usage: Decoction in water, 1 dose per day, twice a day.

Dosage and Usage of Turtle Shell

For internal use: decoction, 15 to 30 grams, decocted first; or made into pills or powder. For external use: appropriate amount, burn it to ashes, grind it into powder and mix with oil for application.

Contraindications of using tortoise shell

People with weak spleen and stomach, internal cold and dampness, and pregnant women should not take turtle shell. Turtle shell is incompatible with Adenophora and cockroaches.
