[Original morphology] Anlongaceae, perennial herb. The stem is erect or ascending, much branched, thin and weakly curved, 60-70cm long, and covered with small hooked hairs. Petiole 3-9mm long, covered with rough hairs or small hooked hairs; leaf blade small, ovate or obovate, 1.2-3.8cm long, 0.8-2.2cm wide, covered with appressed rough hairs above, covered with rough stiff hairs below, apex rounded or obtuse, base cuneate and decurrent, margin with wavy crenates or crenates, lateral veins 2-3 pairs, concave above with midrib, convex below. The spike inflorescence is terminal on the upper part of the branch, composed of a very loose whorl of 2 flowers that is biased to one side; the bracts are elliptic to nearly circular, 1.5-5mm long, 1.2-3.8mm wide, with short petioles, entire, and ciliate; the pedicel is thin, about 2mm long, with strigose hairs or small hooked hairs; the calyx is bell-shaped, about 5mm long, about 3.5mm wide, with sparse soft hairs along the veins in the lower part on the outside, and the rest has light yellow glandular dots, and there is a ring of eyelashes at the throat on the inside; the corolla is white or lavender, with white vesicular hairs on the outside, and vesicular hairs below the throat on the inside, the corolla tube is about 6mm long, the lip is up to 1cm long, extending at right angles to the corolla tube, the middle lobe is obovate and nearly circular, about 3.8mm wide, the front pair of lateral lobes is short, 0.7mm long, and the rear pair is longer, about 1mm long, often 2-3 developed, yellow-brown, with reticular patterns. Flowering period is October.
