Fried yam recipe

1. Vegetables

①Carrot

Yams are rich in vitamin C, while carrots are rich in vitamin C-degrading enzymes. If yams and carrots are eaten together, the vitamin C in the yam will be broken down and destroyed.

②Cucumber

Yams are rich in vitamin C, while cucumbers are rich in vitamin C-degrading enzymes. If they are eaten together, the vitamin C will be decomposed, resulting in nutrient waste.

③Pumpkin

The vitamin C-degrading enzyme contained in pumpkin will break down and destroy the vitamin C in yam, reducing the nutritional value of yam.

④ Winter melon

Winter squash is rich in vitamin C-degrading enzyme, and yam is rich in vitamin C. Eating them together will cause the vitamin C to be destroyed by the vitamin C-degrading enzyme.

2. Meat

① Shrimp

Yams cannot be eaten with shrimps. If you take them together, it will cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and other symptoms.

② Carp

Yam cannot be eaten with carp. Eating them together can cause symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.

③Pork liver

Yam cannot be eaten with pork liver. Pork liver contains trace metal elements such as copper, iron, and zinc, while yam is rich in vitamin C. When vitamin C encounters metal ions, it will be destroyed due to accelerated oxidation.

④ Venison

Yams cannot be eaten with venison. Eating yam and venison together is astringent and can cause constipation.

3. Gan Sui

Yam cannot be eaten together with gansui.

Yam nourishes the kidney, strengthens the spleen and moistens the lungs, while gansui can drain water and reduce swelling. It can stimulate the intestinal tract, increase intestinal peristalsis, and produce a laxative effect. The two effects are completely opposite and should not be taken together.

4. Alkaline drugs

Yam cannot be taken together with alkaline drugs.

Yam contains amylase. When yam is taken together with alkaline drugs, the alkaline drugs will make the amylase in the yam ineffective and reduce the nutritional value of yam.

5. Buckwheat

Yam cannot be eaten with buckwheat rice. Eating them together will cause physical discomfort.
