[Source] The whole herb , root or rhizome of the hairy plant Thalictrum lucidum . In autumn, dig up the roots and rhizomes, remove the mud and sand, and dry them in the sun; in summer, collect the whole herb and dry it in the sun.

[Original form] Perennial herb, about 60 to 150 cm tall. The rhizome is short and the fibrous roots are dark brown. Stem erect, glabrous. Leaves are 3-4-times 3-compound leaves; leaflets are thick and herbaceous, broadly ovate-cordate to obovate-cuneate, or nearly round, 1.5-2.5 cm long, 1.2-3 cm wide, 3 shallowly lobed, the shallow lobes are entire or with sparse and coarse teeth, and the veins are slightly raised. The compound monochasium inflorescence is corymbose, with many branches; sepals are white or purple, broadly elliptic, 3-3.5 mm long; there are no petals; there are many stamens, 6-9 mm long, and the upper part of the filaments is oblanceolate; there are 6-8 carpels, the ovary has a long petiole, and the style is short. There are several achenes, which are obovate, have 3 to 4 longitudinal wings and a pointed fruit mouth. Flowering period is from June to July. Fruiting period is from July to September.

[Habitat distribution] It grows on forest edges, forest grasslands and riverside thickets. Distributed in Zhejiang, Shandong, Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Northeast China.

The fever of cured cases subsided within an average of 1.5 days.
