Alum should not be used in large quantities

Alum is poisonous. As a food additive, alum basically cannot be excreted from the body after being ingested. It will remain deposited in the human body. Therefore, the World Health Organization lists alum as a harmful food additive. It does not cause much harm to life, but mainly affects intelligence and nerves, which is also very dangerous.
