[Source] It is the fruit of the Moraceae plant. Harvest when ripe in summer and autumn.

[Original form] Evergreen tree, 8 to 15 meters tall, with latex all over the body. Leaves are alternate; thick leathery; elliptic to obovate, 7-15 cm long, obtuse and mucronate at apex, cuneate at base, entire, leaves on young branches sometimes 3-lobed, glabrous on both sides, shiny above, slightly rough beneath; petiole 1-2.5 cm long: stipules spathe-shaped, caducous early. Flowers are unisexual and monoecious; male inflorescences are terminal or axillary, cylindrical, 5-8 cm long, 2.5 cm in diameter, with 2-lobed perianth, obtuse lobes, and 1 stamen; female inflorescences are cylindrical or oblong, born in spherical receptacles on the trunk or main branches. When mature, the aggregate fruit is 25 to 60 cm long, and the larger ones can weigh up to 20 kg. The outer skin has slightly hexagonal tumor-like protrusions. Flowering period is from February to March.

【Habitat distribution】Grows in tropical areas. It is cultivated in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Taiwan and other places in my country.
