With the improvement of living quality and the increase of dietary level, most of our friends have started to live a life of eating a lot of meat and fish. Many friends who have meat on the table for every meal are also facing the pain of obesity. Because of the symptoms of obesity caused by excessive fat intake, many friends who pay attention to their figure have started a weight loss journey. Many friends choose to enter weight loss training camps to lose weight. There are also many friends who take weight loss products to control their weight. The most common one is vitamin Bt. What is vitamin Bt? Vitamin Bt is what we often call L-carnitine. L-carnitine is used for weight loss and is a good weight loss substance. L-carnitine exists in the human body. L-carnitine extracted from human muscles acts on muscles to control fat, reduce weight and slow down aging. L-Carnitine is considered a "vitamin-like" nutrient. In the early 20th century, scientists discovered L-carnitine in muscle extracts, and later confirmed that it was an amino acid widely present in the human body, involved in many metabolic processes in the human body, and was an essential substance for the oxidation metabolism of fat in the body. Red meat and animal products are the main food sources of carnitine, but the average person can only absorb 50 mg from the diet. In order to achieve ideal health, the daily diet should contain no less than 250-500 mg of carnitine. At the International Nutrition Academic Conference held in Chicago in 1985, L-carnitine was designated as a "multi-functional nutrient". It has now been stipulated as a legal multi-purpose nutrient by Switzerland, France, the United States and the World Health Organization (WHO). In the human body, the most prominent physiological function of L-carnitine is to act as a carrier for fatty acid transport. It transfers medium-chain fatty acids from the outside of the cell mitochondrial membrane to the inside of the membrane in the form of acetyl-L-carnitine, undergoes β-oxidation in the mitochondrial matrix, and converts them into energy needed by the human body. It is a high-quality active substance for weight loss. This physiological function makes the supplementation of L-carnitine have many important functions: ●Reduce fat and weight ● Helps the body burn fat during exercise, improving energy, endurance and athletic performance ● Clear excess lactic acid, improve work capacity, and promote fatigue recovery ● Enhance the ability of myocardial cells to oxidize fat and reduce the burden on the heart during high-intensity exercise ●Slow down the aging process of human beings, etc. In the domestic sports community, many people have begun to focus on supplementing L-carnitine, mainly for fat loss, endurance enhancement and fatigue resistance. In the mass market, L-carnitine is also the main ingredient of many weight loss and anti-fatigue products. Carnitine has three optical isomers: L-carnitine, D-carnitine and L- and D-carnitine. Among these three configurations, only L-carnitine is biologically active, and the carnitine usually referred to is L-carnitine. There are two sources of L-carnitine: one is from dietary intake, which is most abundant in meat and dairy products, and very little or no in vegetables, cereals and fruits; the other is endogenous synthesis, in which L-carnitine is synthesized from lysine and methionine through a five-step reaction with the participation of vitamin C, niacin, vitamin B6 and reduced iron. Since lysine is sensitive to heat, the dietary habits of our people can easily lead to a lack of carnitine. The necessity of supplementing L-carnitine also lies in the fact that many individuals are in a state of deficiency or marginal deficiency, with low levels of carnitine in their blood and tissues. Carnitine "deficiency state" is seen in: fasting, vegetarian diet, strenuous exercise, obesity, infants eating formula foods that are not fortified with carnitine, etc. In 1993, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expert committee considered L-carnitine to be "generally recognized as safe and non-toxic." As for the dosage and method of using L-carnitine, there is no unified conclusion yet. Foreign experiments show that daily supplementation of 0.5-4 grams of carnitine (the effect is not obvious when the daily dosage is less than 250 mg) taken in divided doses before breakfast, lunch or 30 minutes before exercise is safe and effective. Combined with a low-fat, low-carbohydrate diet (no more than 50% of total calories), you can achieve ideal weight loss results. If you want to increase endurance through carnitine, you should start taking it continuously several weeks before the competition. Do not take carnitine too late in the evening to avoid being too energetic and affecting your sleep. The last point to be made is that since the L-carnitine monomer is extremely unstable, the so-called pure L-carnitine on the market is unreliable. The stable form of L-carnitine tartrate is selected. It has high carnitine content, stable and safe performance, and has the same effect as L-carnitine. It is the best choice for consumers. L-carnitine is a common active substance. It is not just for losing weight and controlling body weight. It can also slow down human aging, promote fatigue recovery, enhance the antioxidant capacity of myocardial cells, and reduce the burden on the heart. L-carnitine is already quite commonly used in today's life. Athletes use it to restore physical strength and reduce fatigue, and the elderly use it to strengthen the myocardium and resist aging. However, everyone's physique is different, and the use of L-carnitine must be diagnosed by an expert before safe use. |
