The efficacy and function of Laimahui

The names of some medicines are very strange. People may name them according to their therapeutic effects, such as the medicinal herb Lai Ma Hui. There are many effects and functions of Laimahui. Many traditional Chinese medicine books have introduced Laimahui. For example, "Guizhou Folk Prescriptions and Medicines Collection" tells that Laimahui can treat children's colds, and "Compilation of Commonly Used Folk Herbs" introduces that Ma Laihui has the effect of removing dampness and strengthening the stomach.

The Chinese medicine in Malaysia is called Guazijin, and its English name is Herba Polygalae Japonica. It is a herb that likes to grow on Eryin slopes. It has the unique medicinal effect of removing heat and eliminating toxins, especially when people have ulcers or unknown swellings. If you pick the whole plant and boil it to drink, within three days, the ulcers or those unknown swellings will shrink significantly until they disappear completely. Antitussive, expectorant, blood circulation, hemostasis, tranquilizing, and detoxifying. It is used to treat cough with excessive sputum, vomiting blood, bloody stool, palpitations, insomnia, sore throat, carbuncles, snake bites, and bruises.

[Usage and Dosage] For internal use: decoct in water, 3-5 qian (1-2 liang for fresh); mash into juice or grind into powder. For external use: mash and apply.
