Candidal vaginitis is caused by the pathogen Candida albicans, and often occurs in women who use hormones and antibiotics for a long time, diabetics and pregnant women. The main routes of transmission are sexual intercourse, bathing pools, bath towels, etc. The main symptoms are tofu-like leucorrhea and vulvar itching.

Gardnerella vaginitis is caused by the pathogen Gardnerella, which can be transmitted through sexual intercourse. It has a high prevalence among people with promiscuous sexual relations. Infections caused by Gardnerella are more common in sexually active women. In the acute phase, the amount of leucorrhea increases, and it has a fishy or ammonia odor. The vulva becomes damp and uncomfortable, often accompanied by a burning sensation in the vagina, pain during sexual intercourse, and itching of the vulva.

Gonococcal vaginitis is caused by the pathogen Neisseria gonorrhoeae and can be transmitted through unclean or promiscuous sexual intercourse. There are also a few cases of indirect transmission through wearing swimsuits infected with gonococci or through bathtubs, toilets, etc. contaminated with gonococci. Its symptoms include lower abdominal pain, increased vaginal discharge, purulent leucorrhea, redness, swelling and pain at the vaginal opening, etc. If not treated in time, it may turn into chronic gynecological inflammation. 10% to 20% of women may experience infertility or ectopic pregnancy.
