"Zhejiang Tianmu Yam Plant Records": For the treatment of rheumatism and paralysis of limbs, take 50 cents of dried bark (remove the rough skin) and steam it with wine. For treating tooth decay, decoct the leaves in water and use as a gargle. For treating injury, blood stasis, swelling and pain, add equal amounts of Sophora flavescens and Agrimoniae root to the root bark, mix with wine lees and mash them together to apply to the injured area. Dispel wind, remove blood stasis, and eliminate phlegm.

① "Tang Materia Medica": It is used to treat long-term wind and beriberi, swelling, weak limbs, toxic gas easily wandering in the skin, phlegm, etc.

Take it soaked in wine.

② "Bencao Shiyi": To remove wind-related paralysis, blood stagnation, fractures, blood dripping between bones and flesh, unbearable pain, and skin itching and swelling, mix five kinds of wood into a decoction, and massage the damaged area.

③ "Bencao Gangmu": It is used to treat blood stasis caused by trauma, and must be taken with wine. The decoction can heal tendons and bones.

④ "Compendium of Materia Medica": Boil the juice in water, add salt and gargle to treat mouth ulcers.

Usage and Dosage For internal use: decoct in water, 1-3 liang; or soak in wine.

For external use: decoct in water for gargling or washing.
