What are the effects and functions of Ishikawa?

The medicinal value of Shi Jianchuan cannot be ignored because it can treat many diseases. It is often used to treat nerve paralysis or dysmenorrhea, as well as amenorrhea in women. It can also be used to treat acute and chronic hepatitis.

1. Medicinal value

The whole plant is used as medicine. In Jiangsu area, it is used to treat hepatitis, facial nerve paralysis, mastitis, carbuncle, dysmenorrhea and bone pain. In Jiangjin, Sichuan, the roots are used to soak in wine for internal consumption to regulate menstruation and promote blood circulation. In Guangxi, it is used to treat rheumatism and scabies.

2. Functions and indications

Promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis; clear away heat and dampness; disperse stagnation and reduce swelling. It is used to treat irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, metrorrhagia, bloody stool, jaundice due to damp-heat, bloody dysentery due to heat toxins, painful stranguria, leucorrhea, rheumatic bone pain, scrofula, sores, mastitis, herpes zoster, leprosy, and swelling due to falls.

3. Treatment of acute and chronic hepatitis

Take 2 liang of purple ginseng, or add 1 liang of glutinous rice straw, decoct twice in water, combine the decoction and add half a liang of brown sugar, take in two doses (half the dose for children). 205 cases were treated, 150 were cured, 33 improved, and 22 were ineffective. Among them, 169 were acute cases, 126 were cured, and the average cure time was 36 days; 36 were chronic cases, 24 were cured.

4. Treatment of leucorrhea

Take 2 liang of stone, break it through, and boil it in water. Take one dose daily for 5 to 7 days. More than 800 cases were treated, with an effective rate of 80%.
