It has the effects of nourishing the liver and kidneys, astringing semen and preventing loss of essence, stopping leukorrhea and metrorrhagia, astringing and stopping sweating, and promoting body fluid and quenching thirst.

It is mainly used to treat vertigo, tinnitus, soreness of waist and knees, impotence and spermatorrhea, enuresis and frequent urination, metrorrhagia and leukorrhea, profuse sweating and collapse, internal heat and thirst, physical weakness in women, and excessive menstruation.

How to use Dogwood

Used for liver and kidney deficiency, dizziness, tinnitus, and low back pain. It is used in combination with Rehmannia glutinosa, Lycium barbarum, Cuscuta australis, Eucommia ulmoides, etc.

1. Spontaneous sweating and night sweats: 9g each of Cornus officinalis, Saposhnikovia divaricata and Astragalus membranaceus, decocted in water and taken orally.

2. Excessive sweating: 15g each of Cornus officinalis and Atractylodes macrocephala, 30g each of Dragon Bone and Oyster, decocted in water and taken orally.

3. Enuresis: 9 grams each of Cornus officinalis, Rubus idaeus, Poria cocos, 3 grams of Aconitum carmichaelii, 12 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, decocted in water and taken orally.

4. Frequent urinary incontinence in the elderly: 9g ​​Cornus officinalis, 6g Schisandra chinensis, 6g Alpinia oxyphylla, decocted in water and taken orally.

Cornus officinalis rice porridge

Ingredients: 15g cornus fruit, 100g white rice, a little white sugar;

Ingredients: 8 liang of Cornus officinalis, 3 liang of Schisandra chinensis, 1 jin of walnuts, and half a jin of rock sugar.

practice:

(1) Wash and drain the cornus fruit, wash the schisandra chinensis, pour them into a clay pot, and soak them in cold water for half an hour;

(2) Then, simmer over low heat until it becomes a thick juice. After simmering for half an hour, when half a bowl of juice remains, filter out the juice and add one and a half bowls of water. Simmer for the second time. When about half a bowl of juice remains, filter out the residue.
