For treating late stage of febrile disease, when residual heat has not been eliminated, yin fluid has been damaged, patients are hot at night and cool in the morning, have red tongue and rapid pulse, such as Qinghao Biejia Decoction. It can be used to treat febrile diseases with heat entering the blood, excessive heat and toxicity in the blood, vomiting blood, nosebleeds, and purple-black macules. Such as Si Sheng Wan.

Effect of nourishing yin and promoting body fluid: used for thirst due to loss of body fluid, and thirst caused by internal heat. It is used to treat damage to yin caused by febrile diseases, dry intestines and constipation, such as Zengye Decoction.

When used as medicine, it is decocted and taken, 10 to 30 grams. The dosage for fresh products can be doubled, or the fresh product can be mashed into juice and used as medicine. Fresh Rehmannia root tastes sweet, bitter and very cold in nature, and has similar effects to dried Rehmannia root. Its yin-nourishing ability is slightly weaker, but it has stronger abilities in clearing away heat, promoting fluid production, cooling blood and stopping bleeding. This product is cold and stagnant in nature. It is not suitable for patients with spleen deficiency, dampness stagnation, abdominal distension and loose stools.

The effects of sugarcane and rehmannia tea: clearing away heat and nourishing yin, or it can be drunk by those who suffer from yin damage due to heat disease.

Ingredients: 200g fresh sugarcane (peeled), 3g raw earth, 3g green tea.

Preparation method: Cut the sugar cane into small pieces, boil the sugar cane and raw earth in water until the water boils, and make tea for drinking. You can add rock sugar.
