8. To treat heat dysentery in children: 2 qian of fish and mackerel string, 3 qian of cranesbill, 3 qian of verbena, 2 qian of akebia, 2 qian of perilla, and 2 qian of iron lantern grass. Take it in decoction.

9. Treatment of gastric ulcer and conjunctivitis: 2 liang of fresh Amaranth root. Decoction in water.

10. To treat sore throat and tight mouth: Mash the root or leaves of Malan, add a little rice vinegar, drip into the nostrils, or pour it down the throat to remove phlegm and relieve the symptoms.

11. To treat mastitis: mash the leaves of the Chinese mackerel and apply them to the affected area.

12. Retrograde menstruation in women: 30-60 grams of Amaranthus whole herb, decocted in water and add a little rice wine to drink.

13. Used for diabetes, nausea, stomach heat, vomiting, blood in the stool, dysuria, metrorrhagia, hemorrhoids, nephritis, etc.: remove impurities from the water spinach, wash it clean, blanch it in boiling water, pick it out and cool it with cold water, drain the water, mix it with cooked rabbit shreds, green onion shreds, MSG, white soy sauce, refined salt, and sesame oil, and eat it. It has the functions of replenishing qi, detoxifying, cooling blood, and reducing swelling.
