3. Treat carbuncle, ulcer and furuncle: mash fresh calamus and apply externally. It is used to treat fever, coma, delirium, epilepsy, madness, diarrhea, vomiting and loss of appetite due to dampness and turbidity blocking the stomach, etc. External application to treat carbuncle, scabies and ringworm.

4. Calamus calming tea: 1.5g of nine-section calamus, 2 red dates, 2 sour plums (black plums), and appropriate amount of sugar. Just brew and drink. It can open up the heart and clear the orifices, eliminate rheumatism, remove phlegm and reduce accumulation. It is used to treat insufficient heart qi, forgetfulness, epilepsy, deafness, cough, depression, heart and stomach pain, cholera, and rheumatism.
