It is used for limb cramps and muscle and bone pain caused by damp-heat stranguria, leucorrhea, carbuncle, scrofula, scabies, syphilis and mercury poisoning.

1. Syphilis.

Use four ounces of wild yam and seven soap beans, boil them in water and drink as tea.

2. Bone spasm and carbuncle (pain in the tendons and bones, which ulcerate and become carbuncle, which lasts for years and becomes a lifelong disability).

Use one or two liang of wild yam. If there is heat, add Scutellaria baicalensis and Coptis chinensis. If there is qi deficiency, add Sijunzi Decoction. If there is blood deficiency, add Siwu Decoction. Boil them in water and drink as tea.

Another recipe: Use 4 liang of wild yam, 1 liang of Siwu Decoction, 7 soap beans, 49 Sichuan peppercorns, and 7 rushes, boil them in water and drink as tea.

3. Scrofula ulceration.

Slice the wild yam, or grind it into powder, decoct it in water or add it to porridge.

1. Treatment of headache: 30-60g of Smilax glabra, the maximum dose is 120g. Then add corresponding drugs according to different syndromes. 45 cases of intractable headache were treated, 17 cases were significantly effective, 27 cases were improved, and the total effective rate was 97.8%. The shortest medication time is 7 days and the longest is 3 months.

2. For the treatment of knee joint effusion, Shentong Zhuyu Decoction is used as the basic prescription, and the dosage of Smilax glabra is increased, ranging from 30g for mild cases to 120-240g for severe cases. Generally, 20 doses are enough for mild cases, and 100 doses are enough for severe cases.

3. Treatment of acute bacillary dysentery: 90g each of fresh Smilax glabra and fresh Plantago asiatica, 30g of Andrographis paniculata. Add 1500ml of water and boil until 1000ml. 4. Treatment of leptospirosis: 60g of Smilax glabra and 9g of licorice, 1 dose per day, decocted and taken twice. 5. Treatment of syphilis

a. 60-240g of Smilax glabra (can be increased to more than 250g if necessary), 15g each of Xanthium sibiricum and Dictamni root, 3-10g of Licorice root, decoct in water, 1 dose per day, 3 times, 20 days as a course of treatment. 400 cases of syphilis were treated, including 301 cases of latent syphilis. After 3 serum tests, 357 cases turned negative, 26 cases improved, and 17 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 95.75%

How to eat Tu Fuling:

1. Poria cocos and chestnut porridge: 15g Poria cocos, 25g chestnuts, 10 dates, and 100g polished rice. Add water and cook chestnuts, jujubes and glutinous rice first; grind Poria cocos into powder, add it slowly when the rice is half cooked, stir well, and cook until the chestnuts are cooked through. Sugar can be added to season the food. This prescription uses Poria cocos to nourish the spleen and eliminate dampness, chestnuts to nourish the spleen and stop diarrhea, and jujubes to benefit the spleen and stomach. Used for weak spleen and stomach, reduced appetite, loose stools and diarrhea.

2. Poria cocos and chicken wontons: 50g Poria cocos, appropriate amount of chicken, 200g flour. Grind Poria cocos into fine powder, knead it into dough with flour and water. Chop the chicken into fine pieces, add ginger, pepper and salt as filling, and make wontons. Cooking. Originated from the Book of Serving and Caring for Parents. This recipe uses Poria cocos to nourish the spleen and eliminate dampness, chicken to nourish the spleen and replenish qi, and ginger and pepper to stimulate the appetite and relieve gas. Used for weak spleen and stomach, vomiting, loss of appetite, and indigestion.

3. Poria cocos and Ophiopogon japonicus porridge: 15g each of Poria cocos and Ophiopogon japonicus, 100g of corn. Add corn to water and cook into porridge; boil the two medicinal herbs to obtain a thick juice, add it when the rice is half cooked, and cook together. Originated from "Shenghuifang". This prescription uses Poria cocos to calm the mind and soothe the nerves, Ophiopogon japonicus to nourish yin and clear the heart, and millet to eliminate restlessness and heat. It is used for heart yin deficiency, chest heat, palpitations, insomnia, dry mouth and tongue.

4. Poria wine: 60 grams of Poria, 20 dates, 12 grams of Angelica, 12 grams of wolfberry, and 1500 ml of white wine. Chop the above medicines into pieces and put them in a clay jar. Pour in white wine, seal and soak for 15 days. Shake every 3 days and drink 1-2 times a day, 10-15 ml each time. It is suitable for treating symptoms such as low back pain, weak legs, fatigue, spermatorrhea, impotence, premature graying of hair, palpitations, insomnia, and loss of appetite caused by weak Qi and blood, and deficiency of both Yin and Yang.

5. Poria paste: 500 grams of white Poria, 1000 grams of white honey. First grind the white Poria into fine powder, use water to remove the floating ones, take the sinking ones, filter out the water, float and dry again, repeat 3 times, then grind into fine powder, mix with white honey, heat and boil until water drops form beads, then bottle for later use, take twice a day, 12-15 grams each time, with boiled water. Regular consumption of this product is beneficial for senile edema, obesity and cancer prevention.
