I wonder if everyone has heard of the effects of Scutellaria barbata and Houttuynia cordata. Scutellaria barbata and Houttuynia cordata are both very powerful Chinese medicinal herbs. Do they have any anti-cancer effect when taken together? Can they be taken for a long time? Can I drink Scutellaria barbata and Hedyotis diffusa for a long time? The main function of Hedyotis diffusa and Scutellaria barbata in traditional Chinese medicine is to clear away heat and reduce internal heat, and pharmacological research has shown anti-cancer effect. Long-term use may damage the body's qi and blood due to the slight cold. In addition, it is not good to use only two drugs to prevent cancer. Chinese medicine focuses on the whole. Houttuynia cordata, Scutellaria barbata, and Brazilian wood decoctions are used to treat cancer and sores. If you are sick, you should take it appropriately according to the doctor's instructions. It is not suitable to take it if you are not sick. It is not a tonic and long-term use will harm the body. For the treatment of cancer and sores, you can appropriately combine it with other medicines such as soapberry thorns, Chinese pangolin, centipede, etc., for a better effect. Are Scutellaria barbata and Hedyotis diffusa carcinogens? 1. Gastric cancer It has been reported that the Sanbao Fubao Pill, a pill made from thorny seeds of Scutellaria barbata and Houttuynia cordata, was used to treat 182 cases of intermediate and advanced gastric cancer. Dosage: Take orally 10g each time, 3 times a day, and boil 10g each of Rehmannia glutinosa and Lycium barbarum into a decoction. Patients take the medicine for 1 month to 10 years. Results: 46 cases were basically cured (symptoms subsided, lesions subsided as shown by gastroscopy, and they survived for more than 3 years), 52 cases had significant effects, 45 cases improved, and 39 cases failed to respond. Clinical medicine has confirmed that the longer you take the medicine, the better its effect. Others used anti-cancer injection (Banjilian, Houttuynia cordata, Bleucophylla, Solanum nigrum, and Glehnia littoralis) to treat 41 cases of gastric cancer, with an overall clinical efficacy of 82.4%. 2. Esophageal cancer It has been reported that taking Banzhilian Jizi Lianshe Yin (Banzhilian, Baihuashediancao, Liujinu, Curcuma, etc.) orally, one dose per day, and adding 3g of Kaidaosan, taken in three times, can treat esophageal cancer. It is confirmed that it can alleviate symptoms, reduce pain and increase survival time. After treatment, some patients can eat well, regain vitality, live independently in daily life, and survive for more than 5 years. In the Central Hospital of Nanzhang County, Hubei Province, 25 cases of esophageal cancer were treated with Scutellaria barbata (Scutellaria barbata 60g, Taraxacum mongolicum, Dioscorea bulbifera 30g each, Scutellaria baicalensis 6g, Pinellia 9g, and 1 whole Cucurbitacin) as the main treatment. Six cases showed significant effects (active symptom regression, regression of tumor cells in cytological examination, moderate to severe increase or moderate to severe hyperplasia of dermal cells, shrinkage or destruction of tumor cells, and partial regression of the disease on X-ray), nine cases were cured, seven cases failed, and three cases died. The total effective rate was 60%. Zhang reported that he treated 31 cases of esophageal cancer. According to dialectical analysis, both Scutellaria barbata seeds are used for qi deficiency and blood stasis and damp phlegm coagulation types, with 60 doses as one treatment course. For patients with good efficacy, change the medicine into powder, take 10g each time, twice a day; for patients with poor treatment effect, persist in using the medicine for 2 courses of treatment. As a result of treatment, 6 cases survived for more than 5 years, 9 cases survived for more than 3 years, 10 cases survived for more than 1 year, and 6 cases died within less than 1 year. |
