1. Treat stomach yin deficiency

For those who have no appetite when hungry, have abdominal discomfort, dry mouth and throat, red tongue with little fluid, and thin and rapid pulse, Ophiopogon japonicus decoction with Polygonatum sibiricum can be used for treatment.

2. Treat Yin deficiency cough

For patients with dry cough with little sputum and cough caused by lung and kidney yin deficiency, you can boil the Polygonatum odoratum into a paste and take it.

3. Treat tuberculosis

For those with dry cough with little sputum, short cough, blood in sputum, dry mouth and throat, night sweats, red cheeks, hot hands and feet, fatigue, loss of appetite, restlessness and insomnia, red tip of tongue, and thin pulse, you can use 500 grams of Polygonatum sibiricum, 250 grams of Bletilla striata, and 125 grams of Polygonatum odoratum, grind them into fine powder, make them into pills as big as sycamore seeds with refined honey, and swallow them with warm water, 9 grams each time, 3 times a day.

4. Treat Diabetes

For senile diabetes with symptoms of polydipsia, polyphagia, polyuria, weight loss, itchy skin, joint pain, and dry eyes, the Spleen Yin Nourishing Blood Stasis Decoction can be used: Polygonatum sibiricum, yam, Poria cocos, lentil, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Leonurus japonicus, Pueraria root, Coix seed, Rehmannia root bark, and roasted rhubarb.

5. Treat tinea pedis and tinea manuum

Polygonatum sibiricum rub can be used to treat fungal infections. Preparation method of Polygonatum odoratum rubbing liquid: take 100 grams of Polygonatum odoratum, add 250 ml of 75% ethanol, place it in a sealed container and soak it for 15 days, filter out the liquid, and then mix it with 150 ml of rice vinegar.
