[Original form] Gray-haired white crane vine is a climbing shrub. The stem is cylindrical, densely covered with white, gray or light brown hairs. Simple leaves are alternate; petiole is 3-7.5cm long, densely covered with gray curly soft hairs and grooved; leaf blade is broadly ovate to nearly circular, 6-12cm long, 3.5-11cm wide, with acute tip and cordate base, densely covered with prostrate gray long soft hairs with tubercle base on the upper side, and densely covered with extremely dense and curly gray soft hairs on the back. The inflorescence is gathered into a head shape, the flowers are sessile or nearly sessile; the peduncle, bracts and sepals are all covered with pubescence on the outside; the corolla is tubular-bell-shaped, pink, the rim of the crown is deeply 5-lobed, the lobes are narrowly ovate, and the middle band of the petals is densely covered with white pubescence; the stamens and style are extended; the base of the filaments is enlarged and covered with pubescence; the ovary is glabrous and has 2 chambers. The fruit is spherical, red, and covered with enlarged sepals, the inner surface of the sepals is red. Seeds 2 or 1, nearly glabrous. Flowering period: autumn and winter.
