[Original form] Sudixiao is a perennial herb. The bulb is enlarged, nearly oval, about 5cm in diameter, and covered with dark brown bulb skin. Leaves appear in autumn, basal; leaves are thick, broad and linear, about 60 cm long, 2.5 cm at the widest point, gradually narrowing towards the base, about 1.7 cm wide, gradually pointed at the tip, shiny yellow-green above, gray-green below, midrib concave above, convex below. The veins and base of the leaves are purple-red.
