The top of the shell is located slightly forward of the middle of the dorsal edge of the shell, higher than the dorsal edge, slightly concave in the front, more convex in the back, and with a rounded ventral edge. The small moon is nearly elliptical, with a narrow and lanceolate surface. The shell has a smooth surface, a shiny yellow-brown outer skin, and fine and distinct growth lines. The top of the shell is light purple, the belly is yellowish brown, and the inside of the shell is light purple. The hinge is relatively wide, and there is one main tooth on the left shell, which is in the shape of a herringbone. There are two main teeth in the right shell, which are in an eight-shaped shape; the front and rear side teeth are well developed and flaky, with one in the left shell and two in the right shell. The external ligament is small and yellowish brown, while the internal ligament is extremely developed and brownish yellow. The mantle mark is obvious, and the mantle sinus is shallow and semicircular. The anterior adductor muscle scar is slightly square, with the dorsal edge extended into a ribbon shape, and the posterior adductor muscle scar is oval. The foot is tongue-shaped and muscular.
