At the meeting, Wang Xueqin, vice president of Douyin's life service business, said that national chain merchants have achieved new business breakthroughs in Douyin's life service.

In 2024, Douyin Life Service will add more than 100 chain brands with sales exceeding 100 million yuan. With the number of chain stores maintaining high growth, the average GMV of each store will reach 1.2 times that of last year, and more than 7,000 million-level hit products will be incubated. In the field of live broadcasting, an average of more than 30 live broadcasts per day will achieve sales of more than one million yuan .

In addition, Wang Xueqin added that with the joint efforts of the platform and merchants, the brand chain rate continued to increase, and the store scale and market scale of merchants continued to expand. In the past year, 74% of chain brands achieved an increase in the number of operating stores, and in the fourth quarter alone, the number of new stores of merchants exceeded 120,000.
