QuestMobile released the "2024 China Mobile Internet Spring Report". The report reveals the latest trends in China's comprehensive e-commerce apps. The report shows that the head effect is becoming increasingly obvious in China's mobile shopping industry, and the concentration of the industry continues to increase. According to QuestMobile data, the monthly active user scale of the TOP10 apps has generally increased, among which the year-on-year growth rates of Alibaba, Douyin, and JD.com apps are particularly significant. In terms of user scale, Taobao ranks first with 928 million monthly active users, far ahead of Pinduoduo's 677 million and JD.com's 507 million. The report also pointed out that before the Spring Festival, users' demand for purchasing New Year's goods surged, and e-commerce platforms stimulated consumption through New Year's Goods Festival promotions. In March, with the help of holiday promotions such as 38 Women's Day and 315 Home Appliances Festival, the platform's traffic continued to grow. Data from QuestMobile also showed that JD.com, as the exclusive interactive cooperation platform for the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, had a traffic of 151 million on New Year’s Eve, a year-on-year increase of 105.4%. |
