China Academy of Transportation Science & Guazi Used Cars: 2017 China Major Cities Used Car Development Report

The Used Car Development Report is based on the massive data of Guazi.com and combined with the public data of other platforms. It establishes a scientific evaluation index system from six aspects: service environment level, market development level, social contribution level, credit development level, Internet application level and user acquisition level. It evaluates the development level of the used car market in 30 major cities in China, and provides reference for consumers to buy and sell used cars, the operation of used car companies and the decision-making of relevant government departments. The results show that in 2017, the used car market grew by 19.33% year-on-year , among which the cross-regional transaction volume increased by 109.9% year-on-year; the post-90s generation has become a new force in used car consumption with a consumption share of 26.2% , and has also driven financial credit consumption; Shanghai has the highest level of used car market development and the best Internet application, Nanjing has the best market service environment, Beijing has the highest user acquisition level, Kunming has the greatest social contribution, and Chongqing has the best credit development level.
