Flowers are solitary at the top of the main stem and branches; pedicels are 0.4-1.3cm long and pubescent; calyx is short tubular, slightly narrow below and wide above during flowering, wide below and narrow above during fruiting, densely covered with inverted bristles or even glabrous, tube 5-8mm long, lobes triangular, 2-3mm long, slightly longer than wide, densely covered with white eyelashes; corolla is bluish purple or dark blue, 2.5-3 times the length of the calyx, glabrous on the outside, densely pubescent at the throat inside, lobes obovate-oblong, accounting for about 2/5 of the corolla length; ovary is equal to the calyx tube in flowering, and the style extends to the throat of the corolla. Capsule protrudes beyond calyx. Seeds oblong, light brown. Flowering period is August-September.
