【Functions and indications】 Disperses blood stasis and reduces swelling, moistens the lungs and resolves phlegm. It is mainly used to treat rheumatic bone pain, fractures due to falls, pain caused by blood stasis, and cough due to tuberculosis; it can be used externally to treat carbuncle, swelling and pain.

[Usage and Dosage] 3-4 grams of root, decocted in water and taken orally. Mix the fresh roots with brown sugar and mash them for external application.
