Inflorescence polychaete cymose, usually with 5 umbels in umbrella shape, involucral leaf-shaped, ovate-oblong, 5 in whorls, light yellow; each umbel has 3 umbels, 3 bracts at the base, narrowly ovate, the umbels give rise to the third umbel, cup-shaped inflorescence with 4 bracts, petal-shaped, yellow; flowers are unisexual, without perianth. The capsule is 3-sided and spherical with wart-like protrusions on the surface.
