[Source] Medicinal material source: The root of the Umbelliferae plant.

[Original form] Perennial herb, about 30cm tall. The whole plant is glabrous, unbranched, and has longitudinal grooves. The petioles in the middle and lower parts of the stem are about 10 cm long, with swollen leaf sheaths at the base; the leaf blades are about 10 cm long, trifoliate, with lateral lobes with petioles, 1-3 cm long, obovate or whip-shaped ovate, 4-6 cm long, 3 shallowly lobed, covered with white pubescent hairs or glabrous on the upper side, and sparsely covered with stiff hairs along the veins on the lower side, with fine serrations on the edges; the leaves on the upper part of the stem gradually become smaller and have short petioles. Compound umbels terminal; no bracts; rays unequal in length, hairy; 1-2 linear bracteoles; pedicel rough; flowers white, petals dimorphic; calyx teeth inconspicuous; stigma short. The flowering period is July, and no fruits are seen.
