The front part of the lateral line is slightly curved, and the straight part starts from below the 11th to 14th rays of the second dorsal fin. All or most of the lateral line and the straight part have ridged scales. The back is blue-gray, with a small black dot on the posterior upper corner of the gill cover and the shoulder, and a white spot at the end of the front of the second dorsal fin.
