Monoecious or dioecious; male inflorescence cymose, with long peduncles, nearly as long as leaves; female inflorescence nearly capitate, with short peduncles; male flowers nearly sessile, about 2mm in diameter, 4 tepals, connate to the middle, obovate, apex acuminate, often slightly revolute, 4 stamens, small, conical pistils; female flowers small, about 0.5mm long, 3 tepals, unequal in size, ovary oblique. Achenes broadly ovate, oblique, punctate when ripe. The flowering period is from April to September, and the fruiting period is from June to October.
