[Original form] Long-order mountain sesame shrub, about 1m tall. Branchlets weak, scattered, stellately pubescent. Leaves are alternate; petioles are about 1 cm long; stipules are linear, 5 mm long, and fall off early; leaf blades are oblong-lanceolate or oblong-ovate, 5-11 cm long, 2.5-3.5 cm wide, acuminate at the apex, rounded and oblique at the base, with irregular serrations on the edges, sparsely stellate short hairs on the upper side, and stellate hairs and long hairs on the lower side. The inflorescence is elongated, terminal or axillary, almost as long as the leaves, with many flowers; the bracteoles are long and narrow; the calyx is tubular-bell-shaped, about 5mm long, 5-lobed, the lobes are triangular-lanceolate, persistent, and covered with short soft hairs; the petals are 5, yellow, with only 1 auricular appendage at the bottom of the petals and 1 row of hairs on the petals; the androgynophore is hairy, with 10 male onions; the ovary is 5-chambered and covered with hairs. The capsule is oblong, pointed at the apex, 2-3.5 cm long, and densely covered with gray-yellow star-shaped hairs. Flowering period is from June to October.
