【Original morphology】 Plant height 40-60m. The rhizome is long and horizontal, nearly smooth. Leaves subsperm; petiole 20-25cm long, light straw color, sparsely covered with reddish brown, broad ovate scales at base; leaf blade herbaceous, oblanceolate, 25-40cm long, 8-12cm wide, apex gradually pointed and pinnate, gradually narrowing below, short-haired on both sides, often with sparse orange glands below, with more grayish-white long hairs on rachis, rachis and midrib, deeply pinnate-lobed twice; pinnae about 30 pairs, sessile, narrowly lanceolate, the largest in the middle, 4-5cm long, 6-8mm wide, truncated at base, deeply pinnate-lobed, multiple pairs in the lower part gradually shortened into auricles, the lowest pairs degenerated into air sacs; lobes obliquely spreading, 12-20 pairs, oblong, about 4mm long, about 2mm wide, obtuse at apex, entire; venation on lobes pinnate, lateral veins single, 1 pair at base arising from the base of midrib, extending to leaf margin. The sori are small, round, and dorsally located slightly above the middle of the lateral vein, close to the leaf edge; the sori cover is large, kidney-shaped, and has a few grayish-white long hairs.
