[Original form] Scattered or vine-like, bare shrubs. Leaves are opposite or in whorls of 3, leathery, ovate, obovate or elliptic, 1.5-3.5 cm long, 8-20 mm wide, obtuse or slightly concave at apex, sometimes mucronate, obtuse or mucronate at base, bald on both sides, with dorsally rolled margins and inconspicuous lateral veins; with short petioles.
