[Original form] Hairy Beeswax is a perennial herb with flower stems up to 60cm high. The entire anatomical part is covered with thick, spider-like white cotton hairs. The leaves are basal, with long petioles, reniform leaves, 8-10cm long, 8-12cm wide, rounded at the apex, auriculate at the base, serrated at the margin, sparsely woolly above, thicker spider-like white woolly below, with regular veins that appear after flowering. Flowers are dioecious; pedicels emerge from the rhizome, with female pedicels about 60cm high; bracts ovate-lanceolate, 3-4cm long; female capitula about 8mm in diameter, arranged in dense thyrses at the top of the pedicels; involucral bracts in one layer, lanceolate, about 9mm long, acute, often with additional smaller bracts on the outside; female flower corolla apex 4-lobed, lobes awl-shaped, style slender, stigma 2-lobed; male capitula thyrsoid, sparsely arranged, corolla tubular, lobes lanceolate. Achenes; pappus white. Flowering period is April-May.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown on subalpine grass slopes or forest edges.
