【Original morphology】 The cap is 5-15cm wide. The middle part is concave and shallowly funnel-shaped. Dry, white, without fuzz and rings. The edge of the lid gradually becomes thinner and slightly upturned. The flesh of the mushroom is white, hard and brittle, and does not change color after being injured. Spicy taste. The latex is white and does not change color. The gills are white and decurrent. The handle is short and thick, 4-6cm high and 1-3cm thick. Spores are spherical or broadly elliptical, (6-7)μm×(5-6)μm, with micro-warts on the wall.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Scattered or in groups under mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests, commonly found in temperate and subtropical zones. It is an ectomycorrhizal fungus of many tree species. Common from June to October.

[Properties] Identification of properties: The cap is flat and hemispherical, with an umbilical center, or nearly funnel-shaped, white with a slight yellow tint. The flesh is white or light yellow. The gills are dense and forked. Eggshell or white. The stipe is short cylindrical, or gradually tapering downwards, 2-6cm long, 1-3cm in diameter, white, and solid inside. Slight smell, spicy taste.

[Chemical composition] This product contains piperdial, piperalol, velleral and isovelleral.

[Pharmacological action] The crystalline mixture of sesquiterpene lactones contained in the fruiting body has anti-leukemia effect.

【Functions and indications】Dispel wind and cold; relax muscles and activate blood circulation. Mainly used for waist and leg pain; numbness of hands and feet; muscle and bone discomfort; limb convulsions

[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decocted in water, 6-9g.
