[Source] It is the root of the leguminous plant Hybridaceae . Harvest in autumn.

【Original form】 Shrub, up to 2 meters high. The young branches are angular and covered with fine hairs. The trifoliate leaves are alternate, with leaflets elliptical or obovate-elliptical, 2-3 cm long, 8-15 mm wide, rounded with a fine tip, gradually narrowed at the base, entire, with short soft hairs on both sides; petioles are finely pubescent; stipules are subulate. The racemes are axillary, or panicles are terminal; the bracts are lanceolate and pubescent; the pedicels are slender and filiform; the calyx teeth are 4, triangular, and pubescent; the corolla is butterfly-shaped and purple. The pods are obliquely rectangular and have soft hairs. Flowering period is from September to October.

[Habitat distribution] Growing on grass slopes and bushes. Distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou and other places.
