Contains galangin, kaempferide, quercetin and volatile oil. The main components of the oil are 1,8-cineole and methyl cinnamate. The spicy component of galangal is galangol. It has the effects of warming the spleen and stomach, dispelling wind and cold, promoting qi and relieving pain.

Processing: Take the original medicinal materials, remove impurities, wash, soak, cut into thin slices, dry in the sun or dry at low temperature. After processing, store in a dry container in a cool and dry place to prevent moth damage.

Galangal's therapeutic effects:

This medicine is spicy and warm in nature. It enters the spleen and stomach meridians. Aromatic, spicy, warm and dispersing. Warming the middle and dispelling cold, regulating qi and relieving pain. It is mainly used to treat cold pain in the abdomen, vomiting and hiccups, diarrhea, dysentery, cold hernia, athlete's foot, and choking.
