Effects on the cardiovascular system: Injection of 20 mg/kg of Wulingzhi into the femoral artery increased femoral arterial blood flow and reduced vascular resistance in anesthetized dogs. 200ug/ml of the water extract of Fructus Aconiti Lateralis can significantly reduce the oxygen consumption of rat neonatal cardiomyocytes cultured in vitro.
