This shows that Millettia reticulata has a strong blood pressure lowering effect.

When 20 mg/kg of Millettia spatholobi aqueous extract and alcohol precipitation were directly injected into the femoral artery, the femoral artery blood flow increased by 42.7% within 10 minutes after injection; the increase reached 133% at the peak; and the vascular resistance decreased by 45.3%. From this, we can see that Millettia reticulata has the effect of dilating blood vessels.
