Effects of Polygonatum sibiricum

Polygonatum sibiricum is used as medicine based on its rhizome, which has the functions of replenishing qi and nourishing yin, strengthening the spleen, moistening the lungs, and benefiting the kidneys. It is an ideal tonic for the elderly, without the side effects that may be caused by other tonic and warming products. Moreover, Polygonatum sibiricum has the effects of lowering blood pressure and blood sugar, increasing coronary blood flow, lowering blood lipids and delaying atherosclerosis.
