Purslane application on the face turns black

Purslane application on the face turns black

It is actually a common phenomenon that purslane causes rough skin when applied on the face. After all, purslane contains a certain amount of melanin. If this medicine is used for facial application, the skin may become darker or turn brown-black due to coloring. In this case, there is generally no need to do anything, as time goes by, this color will gradually disappear. Because this kind of black color is generally mainly immersed in the thin stratum corneum of the skin and rarely enters the dermis, so with the passage of time, this kind of black will gradually disappear, and the number of years will not exceed one month at most.

Because it takes only 28 days for normal skin tissue to grow from the dermis to the stratum corneum, there is no need to be too impatient and just let it disappear slowly.

Purslane is a wild fruit and also a medicine. It can be used in cooking and as medicine, so it basically has no major toxic side effects. It is a pure natural vegetable and fruit. Especially in summer, it is very beneficial to the human body if eaten properly, but purslane should not be consumed too much. If consumed too much, it may increase the pressure on the stomach and intestines, cause stomach discomfort, and even cause diarrhea. Also, purslane has the effect of inducing miscarriage, so pregnant women should not eat it. When eating purslane, only white sugar can be added, and old brown sugar cannot be added. Adding old brown sugar will affect the effect.

Portulaca oleracea is sour and cold, and penetrates deeply into the human heart and small intestine meridian. It has the effects of clearing away heat and fire, dispersing blood, activating blood circulation, inducing sweating, and treating dysentery. It has the following main uses: 1. For dysentery caused by cold, dampness or heat toxins, it can be taken alone, or it can be mashed into juice and taken with honey. 2. For heat and toxic sores, eczema, insect and snake bites, it can be taken alone or crushed and applied to the wound. 3. Menstrual bleeding, excessive postpartum bleeding, nosebleeds, subcutaneous hemorrhage, etc. are caused by blood heat, and can be treated with Imperata root, Great burdock, Thistle, and Platycladus orientalis leaves. 4. For wind-heat cold with fever and no sweating at the beginning, it can be used alone or in combination with burdock seeds, yellow chrysanthemums, and mulberry leaves.
