What are the effects and functions of Perilla frutescens

Preparation:

1. Clean the bark of Cyperus rotundus: remove impurities and wash it clean (Pharmacopoeia 85). Sift out the mud and sand, and pick out the wood (Yunnan).

2. Roasted Xiangjiapi and wine-processed Xiangjiapi: Mix the Xiangjiapi slices with rice wine, simmer until the wine is gone, take out and dry. Add 500g of peel of each spice and 60g of rice wine (Henan).

3. Cutting the Xiangjiapi: Wash, soak, cut into thick slices, and dry in the sun (Pharmacopoeia 85). If there are long strips, just cut them shorter (Yunnan).
