What are the traditional Chinese medicines for migraine?

9. 30 grams of mother of pearl (pre-boiled), 2-3 grams of gentian, 9-12 grams of chrysanthemum, 3-5 grams of saposhnikovia, 6-9 grams of angelica, 9 grams of white peony, 12-18 grams of rehmannia, 5 grams of chuanxiong, 2-4 whole insects, 5-9 grams of insects, 9 grams of earthworms, and 9 grams of Achyranthes bidentata. Take 1 dose daily, decocted in water and taken in 2 doses. This prescription can clear liver yang, promote blood circulation and dredge meridians. Suitable for migraine. If the tongue coating is greasy and the mouth is bitter, add 5-9 grams of Perilla frutescens. If the appetite is poor, add 12 grams each of scorched six-qu or barley malt. If there are ecchymoses on the tip of the tongue, remove the white peony root and add red peony root. Avoid spicy food when taking this prescription.
