[Original form] Eurya sutchuenensis shrub, up to 3m tall. The terminal bud is glabrous, the young branches have 4 ridges and are glabrous, the leaves are alternate and thinly leathery; the petiole is 3-5mm long and glabrous; the leaf blade is oblong, 4.2-10.5m long, 1.7-3.5m wide, acuminate at the apex, cuneate at the base, with fine serrations on the margin, glabrous on both sides, the veins are sunken on the surface, raised on the back, with 11-14 pairs of lateral veins, connected in an arc shape near the leaf margin. Flowers are unisexual, dioecious, usually 2-3 in axillary; male flowers have 2 ovate bracteoles, 5 sepals, without glandular dots on the margins; 5 petals; 15-20 stamens, with a small tip at the apex; bracteoles and sepals of female flowers are the same shape as those of male flowers, but sepals are smaller; ovary is long ovate, glabrous, style is 3-3.5mm long, and 3-lobed at the apex. The fruit is oval, about 4.5mm in diameter.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing on hillsides and roadside thickets at an altitude of 800-1800m.
