【Functions and indications】 Treat erysipelas, leprosy, mouth ulcers, lacquer sores, and injuries.

【Usage and Dosage】 For external use: decoct in water for washing or burn the ashes for application.

[Additional prescription] To treat lacquer sores: half a pound to one pound of chestnut bark or roots. Boil in water, use one to two liang of water to wash the affected area with rust, two to three times a day. (Zhejiang Tianmu Yam Plant Records)
