Flowers are usually bisexual; racemes solitary or clustered in 2-4 in leaf axils, 2-6 cm long, pubescent; calyx tube bell-shaped, sepals 5-lobed; petals 5, round, white, glabrous; stamens 25-35; ovary glabrous, style slightly short or equal to stamens, sometimes pistil aborted. The drupe is oval, brown to dark brown, and has a smooth surface. The flowering period is from September to October, and the fruiting period is from November to March of the following year.
