What are the Aconitum medicinal materials?

Aconitum-type medicinal materials mainly contain biological alkalis such as aconitine. This alkali is poisonous and a few milligrams can be lethal. Many Chinese medicinal herbs are like this. On the one hand, they are toxic themselves, but on the other hand, they can also treat many diseases. The same is true for Aconitum-based medicinal materials, which have good effects in treating gastritis, hepatitis, nephritis and other diseases. So, what are the Aconitum-type medicinal herbs? Let’s take a look below.

There is currently no specific antidote for treatment. Early, adequate, and repeated administration of atropine and other antiarrhythmic drugs is the main treatment measure. Hemoperfusion has a good effect on patients with severe poisoning.
